Best Athletics Association “BAA Philly” started as a single basketball league in 2012, and basketball has been thriving ever since! From Recreation Leagues all the way up to BAA Philly Stars Travel Teams, young basketball players can chart their own athletic journeys through multiple levels of programming – all while being developed into total athletes mentally, athletically, spiritually, and socially.

Jon Owens is the Founder and CEO of Best Athletic Association, aka BAA. BAA , a 501c3 non-profit organization was founded in 2012. It is a grassroots organization that focuses on education, sports, mental health, behavioral health and mentoring. BAA conduct various events throughout the year which includes summer camps, summer basketball leagues and various scholastic events throughout the school year
